The question often arises: <em>can you heat with air conditioning?<\/em> And if so, what exactly does it mean that <strong>heat pump air conditioning<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The term was not coined by accident. Most modern inverter air conditioners are actually <strong>works as an air-to-air heat pump<\/strong>, which means it can not only cool but also heat efficiently. the appliance harnesses it, it is not an \u201eelectric radiator\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-klima-es-a-hoszivattyu-ugyanaz\">Is the air conditioner and the heat pump the same?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one of the most common questions - and the answer is a little nuanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yes<\/strong>, the air conditioning is technically a heat pump.<br><strong>No<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/a3klima.hu\/en\/heat-pump-heating\/\">not all heat pump air conditioners<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The difference in brief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Heat pump (in general terms)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>air-water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>soil-water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>water\u2013water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>underfloor heating, radiator, domestic hot water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heat pump air conditioning (air-to-air)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>heats the air<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fast reaction time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>easier installation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lower investment costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, if <strong>for space heating<\/strong> are looking for a flexible, electric solution, heat pump air conditioning can be a realistic alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hogyan-mukodik-a-klimas-futes-a-gyakorlatban\">How does air-conditioned heating work in practice?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Heating mode of the air conditioner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>removes heat from the outside air,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this heat is \u201epumped up\u201d by a refrigerant,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and then emitted through the indoor unit in the home.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to inverter technology, the device:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>not toggling on and off,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>but constantly regulates its performance,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>so <strong>even temperature<\/strong> and lower consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority of modern heat pump air conditioners: <strong>-10 to -15 \u00b0C<\/strong>, premium models up to <strong>-20 to -25 \u00b0C<\/strong> is<br>can heat efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-miert-lett-ennyire-nepszeru-a-hoszivattyus-klima-futesre\">Why has heat pump air conditioning for heating become so popular?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is no coincidence that it is becoming more and more common in households as a secondary or even main heating source:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>energy efficient<\/strong> solution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>completely <strong>electric<\/strong>, no gas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>works well <strong>in insulated apartments, houses<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>responds quickly, gives warmth quickly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>one unit for both cooling and heating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it is important to see that <strong>not ideal for all properties<\/strong>, and there are disadvantages - Let's look at the main benefits in turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"magas-hatekonysag-alacsonyabb-fogyasztas\">High efficiency, lower consumption<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest advantage of air-conditioned heating is <strong>good efficiency<\/strong>. Generally speaking, a modern air conditioner optimised for heating in a well-insulated dwelling, used as a supplementary or main heating system <strong>can be competitive with gas heating<\/strong>, and much cheaper than conventional electric heaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It affects consumption:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the size of the apartment,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the quality of the insulation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the set temperature,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the climate efficiency (SCOP value).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tenyleg-lehet-vele-futeni-telen-minuszokban-is\">Can it really be used for heating in winter, even in sub-zero temperatures?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes - <strong>if it is the right device<\/strong>.
