The device collects low-temperature energy from the environment and uses it to generate heat in a <strong>compressor<\/strong> to a higher temperature and use it for your heating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its operation is surprisingly similar to that of a refrigerator or air conditioner, but in the \"reverse\" direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-hoszivattyu-mukodesenek-fo-lepesei\"><strong>The main steps in the operation of a heat pump<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The outdoor unit collects ambient energy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The refrigerant draws heat away from the environment (even below 0 \u00b0C).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The compressor compresses the refrigerant and the temperature rises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The system transfers the heat to your heating: radiator, underfloor heating, fan-coil, tank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The process is repeated in a circular cycle with extremely high efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-miert-hatekonyabb-mint-egy-hagyomanyos-futes\"><strong>Why is it more efficient than conventional heating?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The heat pump <strong>does not produce heat<\/strong>, but also delivers heat.<br>It collects most of its energy from the environment, so it uses much less electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The COP (coefficient of performance) value of modern systems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Between 3.5 and 5<\/strong> moves, i.e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>turns 1 kWh of electricity into up to 3.5-5 kWh of heat<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, in many places even <strong>70-75% could reduce heating costs<\/strong> with a modern heat pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-milyen-tipusu-hoszivattyuk-leteznek\"><strong>2.
